"Our 'Colour Fade' rolls are produced during colour transitions, shutdowns, or even startup processes in our production line. These occur each time we make alterations to our filament manufacturing process, whether it's an inadvertent mistake in our in-house colouration or simply experimenting with new techniques that might not meet our desired appearance standards. Consequently, we occasionally yield rolls of filament that exhibit colour shifts or gradual fades to near invisibility, followed by a return to the intended colour.
 
It's important to note that this isn't akin to the beautiful rainbow-like colour transitions some manufacturers create (although we hope to explore this in the future). Instead, this phenomenon is a natural outcome of filament manufacturing. It's particularly beneficial if you plan on painting your model or seek an economical way to set up your printer for a subsequent print with more expensive filament.
 
We've received numerous requests to make these unique rolls available for purchase, and that's precisely what we're doing. However, their availability is limited. While each production run usually yields some, it's not always guaranteed. Unfortunately, customers can't select specific colours; it might be a single colour or a completely random mix. Nevertheless, if there's a particular colour you desire, feel free to inquire, and we'll do our best to accommodate, if available.

Special Effect:
As our product line expands, so does the diversity of our 'colourfade.' We're thrilled to introduce our newest addition: 'colour fade special effect.' These variations encompass Wood-filled, Cork-filled, Marble, and Glitter-infused filaments, all falling under the category of filled products. Like all 3DQF filled products, we recommend using a 0.6 nozzle for optimal printing. While our primary goal is to ensure compatibility with a 0.4 nozzle, our consistent recommendation remains a 0.6 nozzle across the range.
 
 
If you opt for 'Yes Please' to the special effect, you might receive one or all three rolls as special effect filaments, or potentially none, contingent upon our stock levels at the time of your order. We'll explicitly denote any special effect rolls included in your order. However, if this doesn't align with your preferences, kindly choose 'No Thank you' during the ordering process.
